if i block someone i NEVER want to see their postings unless i unblock them
a Block should really remove the person from my stream;
i have a verbal diarrhea person that i just don't want to
see; since it's my stream i should be able to customize
it, including getting rid of irrelevant.

Inappropriate?Hi Uncle Foobar, are you talking about your Friend stream or your Around Me stream? If it's the latter, then blocking will not prevent posts from showing in this stream. We are looking into implementing this in the future though. If you block someone, it should prevent their posts from showing in your Friend stream from that point forward, but it will not retroactively remove their old posts. I know this can be frustrating and we are working on ways to improve the blocking feature.

Talking about the Around Me stream; sometimes it feels like walking down a too busy sidewalk. It's hard because we form a geo-community, but at the same time some people (i'm straining not to use "violate") just over-do participation in the Around me; familiarity breeds contempt. -
Inappropriate?I think i noticed something: say someone annoys me. If i make them my "friend" i then have the power to block them out of my stream, which doesn't quite make sense (that i make someone annoying into my "friend")
