Include state & country in the location updated on Twitter.
When updating the Twitter location, it should include the state/country in the location. i.e. "Canton, GA, US" instead of just "Canton"

Inappropriate?Hi ramsey, there are a couple factors that affect how this works.
Twitter has a character limit (I believe 30) on what we can send to the location field, which is why it is defaulted to the place name.
Also, there is a location bug that is likely part Google and part us, but some locations just aren't returning any more info than the city name. See this example for Canton: http://brightkite.com/places/eb3f6862...
"Canton" is all the info we're getting from Google when we search that place, which is why that's all that is sharing when you send your checkin to Twitter.
We have plans to carry over the customization options for Twitter sharing to the location field option, which should help with that some, and we're also working to address the location issues where essential information is missing. Both are just taking a little longer than expected.
