iPhone manual needed!
I would like to have a manual or some screencasts for the iPhone app. As it has some different UI/UX capabilities than the website, some instruction would help get the most out of it.

Inappropriate?Hi pjk, this is a good idea. We do have plans to put something together, but we are unsure at this point if it will be in the form of a manual or screencasts. Unfortunately I can't give you an ETA, we would like to wait for the next update and the fixes/additions that will include.

Inappropriate?How about a simple text page explaining what the heck Find Me, Pick a Place and how to create new names for Place Snap on the iPhone?
It says I am at zip code "00" and at the intersection of two streets. I just want to check in that I'm home. Even if I try to name a placemark on the website, it doesn't show up as an option on the iPhone.
Great app, just needs more intuitive way to select your location.

Every placemark I've created on the web shows up in my iPhone app. -
Inappropriate?If you type your placemark name into "Pick a place" it will bring up that placemark and you can checkin from there. Pick a place can be used to refine options for your current location (if the place you're looking for isn't listed) or you can use it to search a completely different location (like 2911 Walnut St, Denver, CO or Paris, France, etc.). I use it quite a bit to check in to placemarks that are in areas where there aren't enough cell towers for snapping to work well.
You can also go to More -> Placemarks to see a list of your placemarks, which will be sorted by proximity based on where the app things you are.
We are working on adding a section to the FAQ that addresses the iPhone app, it should be in there shortly.

Hopefully you can centralize places so that we all don't have say 5,482 different ways to say "Boston Common" when we all mean the same thing.
Another issue- I still only see 2 digits of the zip code I'm in on the iPhone
