Location of "Account Settings" link was hard to find
The other day, I was trying to change my account settings (specifically my user name) and it took me a while to find it. I think I first looked in the upper-right corner of the page where most sites have a My Account-type link, but I didn't see it there.
Then I scanned the the profile box in the left navigation area. I found View my profile so I clicked on it thinking I'd be able to edit it from there, but no luck.
I finally took a closer look at the web page and found the Account Settings link as the last item in the group of links starting with What's Happening?.
I reflected upon why I initially missed it and realized that I had scanned those links but gave up about halfway down since they all seemed like content links rather than configuration links. Seems like the Account Settings link doesn't fit with the other links in that group. It's also not consistent with most account-oriented web sites including e-commerce sites, where your account link is typically in the upper-right corner by links like Sign Out and Logged in as [User].
Here's a mock-up of three places I recommend placing a link to a user's account settings page. I think moving it to locations (1) or (2) in addition to also having an "Edit" link on the profile page (3) would make it easier to find.

Inappropriate?Bikr, thank you very much for the suggestions, you have some great points. We continue to look for ways to improve the UI and the service as a whole, so we will definitely take this into consideration.

Inappropriate?I did a search after I had to hunt a bit for the same "Edit Account" info. I think users get quite accustomed to seeing an "Edit Settings" in the top right corner of many UI's. Also, if logged in and viewing your own profile there really should be some kind of "Edit Your Profile" link visible on the profile.

Inappropriate? We have some changes in the pipeline that will make your Account Settings much easier to find. Stay tuned. :)
