New features for web app - note/picture box on profile, profile tab interface improvements, issue with nudge on own profile
There should be a box for for typing in notes and posting pictures on the profile page in the web app. Also, the tabs for each of the categories in the profile (your Stream,
Places, Friends) should be consistently visible when you navigate to them. Oh yeah - and it would be nice to have the nudge option *not* appear when you're looking at your *own* empty profile when you're logged in. That was unintentionally hilarious. :P

Inappropriate?I'll second the request for "typing in notes and posting pictures" from the web. Seems silly to use the iPhone while I'm sitting at my desk with a perfectly good and easy to use keyboard.
Brady - Glad to hear you're working on enhancements like this.
I’m happy it's Friday

Inappropriate?Tripp, currently you can post notes and photos on the web using your "Me & My Friends", "Around Me", and "Universe" tabs. You can also go to any place page and post notes/photos to that specific location (regardless of whether or not you are checked in there). I hope that helps some.

Inappropriate?Lesley, I see that I can click a specific location and post a note or photo (even if I'm not checked in there) but those same options do not appear on the other tabs you mentioned.
DOH! Never mind. I wasn't checked in. Checking in brings the options up.
Feedback - take it for what it's worth.
I'd much prefer to see the functions but have them grayed out or a note saying that I need to check in first.
I’m all better now.

That's actually a good idea. We do have a lot of usability improvements coming in the future, so things like that won't be as confusing.
