No mobile confirmation code to my Canadian phone
For mobile setup, I enter my Canadian phone number but no code is sent to my device. Have done this a couple of times now. Consistent fail.

Inappropriate?Hi rahelab, unfortunately Canadian SMS is kind of tricky. Canadian numbers are technically not compatible with our international or US numbers, but some people have had success getting them to work with our US short code. If you haven't received your confirmation code yet, then your phone is probably not going to work with our short code.
If you can send text to email, you can still check in and post using your phone by sending your updates to your xxxx@bkite.com email address listed under your Account Settings -> Mobile.
We do have plans to set up a Canadian specific number down the road, but we don't have an ETA for that at the moment.

I can send a text to the +44 number and sign up that way, but how can I link that to my online account? Is there a code to use? -
Hi jillian, if you log in to your online account and enter your phone number under Account Settings -> Mobile it should send a confirmation, recognize it and merge the two accounts. -
Inappropriate?I'm surprised that this still hasn't been resolved. Any major SMS aggregator will take care of getting a Canadian shortcode for you and many will even give you a temporary one from their own pool until the shortcode application is successful. Or, in the interim, you can have a US number for Canadians to SMS too, like how ping.fm just has a normal US number to send an SMS to. Rather much less expensive for Canadians than a txt to the UK.
