Notes aren't posting to Twitter.
Brightkite is in public mode, I have my Twitter user name and password entered and it's set to post any Brightkite notes to Twitter. A friend of mine on Brightkite has no trouble getting her posts sent to Twitter.

Josh, can you try posting a few notes throughout the day to see if they go through to Twitter? If none of those share, there are some other things we can check out. -

I was told someone was looking into it, but nothing ever came of it. Other people seem to be able to share with twitter. Looks like I'm not the only one having this problem.

We increased the timeout for sharing to Twitter to see if that does the trick. Can you try some test checkins today to see if they go through?

Inappropriate?Same problem here. My username for both twitter and bkite is jwalking. Getting this problem resolved would greatly improve the bkite experience.

It looks like you have a protected Twitter account, so that's why your activity is not sharing. In the future you will be able to share to a private account, but we aren't quite there yet. :)

I changed my privacy settings on Twitter and Bkite notes began successfully posting to Twitter.
You may want to consider editing the messaging on the "sharing" tab to something like "You cannot share Bright Kite activity with a protected Twitter account." The current "Your privacy settings apply." message is not very clear.

Josh, we checked and we are sending your updates to Twitter, but it's possible that they are timing out for some reason. So we are going to increase the timeout and see if that allows them to get through. Try posting another update or two today and let us know if it works or not.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem. Forwarding to twitter seems to work sporadically at best. Is there any way to get the tiny url so I can at least manually post it? -
