Please unblock my Verizon text-to-email
As a workaround to Verizon not supporting Brightkite via SMS, I was using text-to-email sent to the unique email assigned me by Brightkite. Verizon's system malfunctioned and bombed Brightkite with dozens of repeat emails from a single text. My text-to-email ability was blocked by Brightkite. Now Verizon text-to-email seems to be working again. Please unblock me.

Inappropriate?bodhi, we understand that this is very frustrating for everybody. Unfortunately we are still waiting to hear from Verizon on the matter. The last time they told us the problem was fixed, it wasn't.

Inappropriate?not sure if this is the problem. i can send through e-mail pics and text BUT i can't add text's to pics! maybe i just don't know where to type them. there is no a "subject" line w/verizon, it just says "text". have no problem texting w/pic to other places,ppl.
anyone have an idea or what i might be missing/doing wrong?

I have a "subject" line on my Verizon phone (LG Chocolate), which works pretty well for setting the caption.

is it broken again? all of a sudden starting yesterday (and continuing through to today) I got a ton of brightkite confirmations of me checking in, even though I only checked in once, and my stream shows me checking in many times. same for a friend, also on verizon.

Thanks Lesley..I'll go back to using picture messaging without a picture (which comes in from vzwpix.com not vtext.com) to use brightkite from my phone. This is what I did last time it malfunctioned. Would be a helluva lot easier if they would just start supporting brightkite by standard SMS

Inappropriate?Is there any way you could let people know somehow when this problem crops up? I've had several SMS checkins get ignored, and i would have gone back to sending emails from vzwpix.com if i had known. I realize this isn't the highest priority in the world, but even if there were a Twitter account that I could subscribe to -- say, just for Brightkite status updates, or even just for VZW-to-Bkite status updates -- that would do it. This might be easier than just leaving it up to individual users to notice that updates aren't posting.
