Privacy settings vs. Maps !!
I have my privacy settings max'd out and I still find that when I check in, the map shows my precise location even if the description is vague.. I have also noticed this with other users who have the lock icon next to their check in - that I can look at their map and see a precise location. Am I missing something here ?

Inappropriate?It will show the exact location to you but not to others. If you want to view what non-friends and filtered users see logout and look at the post in question. You will see privacy settings with the expected result.
