Sending a direct message to yourself results in duplicate messages.
When I send a direct message to myself while testing my API calls, each message results in two received messages and two sent messages. If I use the same method to send a message to someone else, everything is as expected; they get a single message, and I get a single sent message.
I am posting to the recipient's received_messages.xml url.
This is low priority, since it's not a scenario that is encountered in real-world use, but none-the-less...
