Sharing Placemark name (instead of address)
Hey, thought it would be cool to share Placemark names (like "home" or "work") instead of revealing the exact address, as a privacy feature. Right now displaying address doesn't really give an idea of what the location is.

Inappropriate?I agree. I hate how it says "Jake has checked in at blah blah blah, really long address". It should say "Jake has checked in at work."

Inappropriate?You can't do it with placemarks - but you *can* enter address [name of place] to check in at a place name instead of an address :) -
Inappropriate?It would be Nice if you could edit what shows up in the placemark. So it says something like CASizemore has checked in at Gym (123 4th Ave, Mytown, etc.), Bobs Pizza Yurt (1st & Central, Mytown, etc.) love the service.2 Comments

C.A. Sizemore, you can add labels to locations right now. So if you wanted it to say where you are like you listed above then you would enter your location as follows: 123 4th Avenue, Mytown [Gym]. Currently you can do this on the web and then placemark that location for easier checkins in the future. -
Worked great redoing my Placemarks so they all look better thanks. no all I need to do is convince Verizon to accept you guys.
