sms posting not working
sms not working. Will not post updates via bkite's short code. Did successfully post an mms via the email address yesterday, but cannot check-in via the short code.

Inappropriate?E-mail check-ins are a little off too. They're slow to get processed, slow to reply, and SMS is more convenient.

Inappropriate?We had a bit of a backup with SMS and emails this weekend, but the problem should be fixed now. Please let us know if you are still having issues with this.

Inappropriate?I'm with Alltel, and I'm not able to send messages to 80289; I get the following:
"Your message to 80289 was not sent. Please use only ten digit mobile numbers."
I'm still able to send short code messages to Twitter (40404), and able to RECEIVE messages from the BrightKite short code for other people's posts, but I also receive the error message a few minutes later. -
Inappropriate?This seems to be an issue with Alltel since this is not an error message that is coming from Brightkite. A number of other Alltel customers have reported the same problem and one of them has filed a support ticket with Alltel. I'm waiting to hear back from our SMS gateway provider to see if they might know what's going on. There's another thread about this here:
