The "Check In" button on the Placemarks screen of iPhone app is (mostly) broken?
On the Placemarks screen I have a hard time "clicking" the Check In button. It just doesn't seem to click easily, and sometimes a Delete button slides in from the right over the Check In button. Am I doing it wrong?

Inappropriate?I get no response from the placemarks page, which is a lot easier to use than GPS find + Pick a place + search. :/

Inappropriate?I have the same problem: click on the "find me" button, the application starts looking for my location but nothing ever happens afterwards.
Its annoying since i thought that this is one of the "main" functions: tracking my location and telling me how is close to me...

Inappropriate?Eric, this is a bug that happens with iPhone OS 2.2. We'll be releasing an update shortly that should fix that.

Hi Martin, I have OS 2.1. running on mine and have the same problem -
On the placemarks page? The problem you described in your post above seems to refer to something else. The "Find me" button on the "I am..." screen is a toggle button, you can turn it on or off.

Did you try toggling the "Find me" button to on? No need to open a new question.

Yes, i turned it on and then the finding process starts but never stops, the wheel is turning and "finding you..." is written but never disappears

Can you try rebooting your phone? If that doesn't help, go into the Google Maps app and hit the locate button there, to see if it can find you.

:( It started happening about three weeks into 2.1, which didn't make much sense at the time; I figured I had installed something else that was somehow interfering with the BK app. I went as far as completely DFU'ing my phone and rebuilding it from scratch, downloading the app again, and reinstalling. I wish I had read this first. doh! It sounds like you guys know what the issue is. I'm looking forward to the update. :)
