Inappropriate?If you go to FireEagle (another location server) and create an account, there is a link that allows you to create a BriteKite account immediately.
They don't play well together yet, but they promise that anytime soon now.

Inappropriate?That's not a backdoor. A backdoor traditionally means a security hole where people can hijack accounts. This is just a way around the invites.
