Twitter functionality failing!
None of my notes (though it is set to send notes) are being sent through twitter. I've confirmed and reconfirmed my password several times and no go. Seems to be working for my friends though.

That's because you're probably in private mode. In private mode, the general public does not see your notes. Since anybody can usually see your Twitter page, we treat Twitter as the general public.
If you want stuff to show up on Twitter, tweak your privacy settings.

Inappropriate?Hrm.. well my twitter is private as well, and I've purposely chosen to have notes sent to twitter, so shouldn't that override my privacy setting? If I wanted my brightkite to be private and not go to twitter than I would choose private and not have ever registered my twitter information at all.
This doesn't seem to work logically. -

Bodhi, is it just your checkins that are not sharing to Twitter or is it all posts? Do you have both checkins and posts set to "City" for Everyone else? Is this a constant problem or do you experience it sporadically? Thanks. -
it is check-ins and all posts that are not sharing to twitter. i have checkins at "city" and posts "hidden" for "Everyone else". It has been a problem for a week or so now, but had not seen it before. you're welcome -
With your posts set to "Hidden" these will not show up on Twitter. This would need to be set to "City" or "Exact" to share properly. I know this next part may sound silly, but have you double checked your Twitter username and password you have entered on Brightkite to make sure that those are correct? If they're not and you go into the Sharing tab, you'll see a message like "your Twitter credentials are invalid". -
Not silly at all! I thought I had done it right (even doublechecked) but I went and logged out of twitter and sure enough, the pass i thought I was using wasn't correct. then i remembered i changed it a week ago (on mobile) and forgot. duh. the "your Twitter credentials are invalid" thing was on in Brightkite but I was just ignoring it thinking it was something wrong with Bright kite :) -
