Twittering the wrong location.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?Rivets, are you referring to the checkin at "Horse Race Eng, Warmfield, Wakefield, WF1 5, UK" that is on both your Brightkite and Twitter pages? What location were you trying to checkin to?

Inappropriate?yes. The location I was trying to check into was the one I normally use - which is something like 0.35 km from teh town moor, newcastle upon tyne. I just lciked on the checkin button for that location

Inappropriate?It looks like your incorrect checkin was done in Private Mode with your settings set to City level. At this level, it is defaulting to Wakefield. The same thing happens in Google when you search for Town Moor, ENG, United Kingdom:

We pull our data from Google, so that is why this is happening, and unfortunately there is not much we can do. Since the location shows up correctly in Public mode, this is the only way you will be able to checkin and have your location post properly. Hope that helps some.
