Why can't I do an SMS search for businesses near GPS coordinates?
If I send in a query for businesses (by name) near GPS coordinates I get an error. Perhaps this could just balloon into a features like "Check me into the SuperAmerica nearest to these coordinates" but for now I'd settle for a search. I know I can do a search like "SuperAmerica in Eagan, MN" but that doesn't always get me the nearest.

Inappropriate?Kichigai, I just tested this using the coordinates for the Brightkite HQ and all business searches seemed to work fine via SMS. Are you checking in first and then searching for businesses? Or are you trying to do it all in one message?

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. I'm entering this:
?Super America near [Coordinates here] -
Ah, I see. Currently we don't support searching near coordinates like that. You would be able to send "@super america near address/city/zip" and have it return a list of options that you can check in at. Or you can send two separate messages, one to check in at your coordinates and then another to do a search for Super America around those coordinates.
