why is public seeing my exact location?
when not logged in to brightkite i can search myself on google and click to see the actual street location where i am checked in! i am set to private with only friends seeing city level and trusted friends seeing exact location. please resolve this issue ASAP or i will stop using the service as i do not want strangers seeing my home address!

Privacy settings are applied when you do things. I assume that you are referring to your first checkin and note, which you did in public mode, and hence it's at full accuracy.
If the information is sensitive, I would recommend deleting those 2 entries (trashcan icon on the post).
