ZIP-code based address canonicalization is broken
Brightkite's ZIP-code based address canonicalization is broken for ZIP codes that cross city boundaries. For example, I am in 94706 in Berkeley, but Brightkite inststs that I am in Albany. WRONG.

Inappropriate?Jef, all of our location data comes from Google's public geocoder which can sometimes be inaccurate. Unfortunately since this comes from a third party, there is no easy way for us to go in and update it. We are considering a way for users to be able to update and correct location info, but we don't have any real timeframe for when that will get implemented.
