Why do some feeds arrive as a link attachment and others arrive with text, as an e-mail would?
I just signed up for 10 blog feeds. Some feeds arrive with an attachment, an e-mail link to the blog post. Others arrive as a straight e-mail, with the blog post in the body of the e-mail, just as a regular e-mail shows up. Most of them, however, arrive both ways, alternating between the two. Why is this, and can all of them arrive, consistently, as an e-mail would - NOT as an attachment?

Inappropriate?Hey Deborah!
I'm sorry this is confusing :-). When it comes to what is included in your email, we are at the mercy of whatever information is in the feed. We pass whatever is in the feed directly on to you in the format of an email, without making any adjustments to the content.
For instance, some blog owners choose to include the content of the entire post in their feed, and in that case we can display the entire post in the email. Other feed owners choose to only show part of the post, or simply include the enclosures (what you referred to as the attachments). In those cases, we are only able to pass on the partial post and/or the enclosures because that is all the information that is in the feed.
Either way, whatever you get from Feed My Inbox should be exactly what the feed has.
I hope this is helpful. If you still think something is wrong, feel free to forward any of the weird emails to help(at)feedmyinbox.com and we would be happy to take a look and get back with you. Thanks!
I’m hopeful that this helps!
