URLs eaten in photo descriptions
When uploading images, I frequently include links in my descriptions. When I do, I find that the "http:" is being replaced with a single hash mark, and I've got an extraneous quote mark at the end of the href value.
This is what I'm posting (well, it's an example):
<a href="http://www.google.com/">test link</a>
And this is what I'm getting on Flickr:
<a href="#//www.google.com/”">test link</a>
I've already trashed my preferences in an attempt to fix my problem with tags and descriptions randomly being eaten and it had no effect on this bug. I can reproduce this with 100% consistency on two computers.

Inappropriate? It's probably how the strings are being parsed before being sent to Flickr. I'll file a bug on that and we'll see where the change is happening.

Inappropriate?Any update on this?

Inappropriate?None specifically. As you can see from this topic, this project had a bit of a stumble. The bug is in the tracker, and was probably addressed when we completely rewrote the Flickr back end. As soon as we're clear of our current project, I'll get you an update on the status of this.
