Clicking through time in bigger steps
Clicking to move forward through time is annoying, and I know there has been discussion on perhaps some alternative to clicking, but I just thought of something that might be easier than revamping it to be drag-to-scroll (or whatever) instead.
How about having an additional arrow, a sort of "fast-forward" arrow, that skips ahead 8 hours instead of just 2?
There might be a way to design these 8h arrows to look natural alongside the existing arrows... perhaps something like this: --> >> (where --> is the existing arrow, and >> is the new fast-forward arrow that is spaced a little bit away from the existing arrow).

Inappropriate?Qrystal,
Yeah, that's a good idea. And it's much easier to implement than the scrolling (which is maybe ultimately the way to go). I'll look at some graphical treatments of a fast forward/backward arrow and if I can make it so it doesn't look too busy/confusing then this is one I'll put in there (I would use it for sure).
Thanks as always!
