Different goal sets for work days vs. off days.
I'd like to see different goal sets for work day (weekday) vs. off day (weekend/holiday). For example, I might have a goal to watch no more than one hour of television on work days but allow myself four hours on weekend/holiday days. Ideally, there would be a toggle on the page so that it could be changed to meet an individual's personal work week or holiday schedule.

Inappropriate?Hi karend, you'll be happy to know that this is being worked on.
To quote from here: http://getsatisfaction.com/bubbletime...
Question: "I love the simplicity of this app, but Goals seem too simple. It would be great to set goals for other time ranges than just per day. Example: I might not want to read every day, but I'd like to get 3 hours of reading in per week."
Answer from Sean: "This is one I'm working hard on. I suspect I'll have it ready by the end of this weekend. Stay tuned!"
Granted, he mentioned that almost a month ago, but I'm sure they're still working on it ;).

Yes, I saw that, thanks. I see my request as something somewhat different, though, so I'll have to wait and see what the developers think. -
Inappropriate?Regardless of solution, almost anything will help my current list which is growing, and growing.
I’m going bubbletimer nuts

Inappropriate? You can know set the days of the week that a goal applies to. Let me know what you think. Up next is even more flexibility with between goals and weekly goals.
Thanks,
Sean

Great work, thank you!
Btw: "You can Know set.." I thought stuff like this would just happen to foreign speakers :D -
Now, Know, No... I'm just a totally awful speller. I grew up in the late '70's/early '80's when the public school systems in the US were totally in love with phonics. All we did was drill letter sounds all day everyday. I never got any "whole word" instruction at all. I'm a great reader because of it, but I can't spell to save my life. Also, things that don't contribute to a sound like a silent k are just a total mystery to my brain. I know it should be sprinkled in there sometimes but it seems that I do it just randomly.
Oh well. Spell checkers are my friend. They don't help with homophones and the like however.

Hey, phonics worked great for me (my first Canadian school was also into that in the early '80s), and I wholly believe it's a much better approach than memorization of whole words (which is what my second school emphasized in the mid '80s). At the time, I thought my new school was rather remedial because the spelling tests were so basic compared to the old school.
However, I still do occasionally type "now" with a silent k, even though I know better. I usually catch it when I reread my writing to ensure it makes sense. -
If nothing else, the nations love affair with phonics gave us the "Hooked on phonics worked for me!" commercials, which were awesomely bad.
Plus we got to sit around singing stuff like this all day:

It was awesome.

Inappropriate?Great feature... the only suggestion I have is to automatically collapse goals that don't have any time allotted for a particular day, with a show all option.

Good one. Lots of people are starting to complain about how many activities they have on their page.
Thanks,
Sean
