scrolling of the bubble view
Granted I don't know what programming you guys are relying on to display the bubble timer, but I believe there is probably a way to allow easier scrolling of time.
Basically a smooth scrollbar for the day rather than having to hit an arrow key to go left or right. You should be able to embed the entire thing in a scroll system that will still allow all the database information to work as well as the bubbles to fill correctly. Maybe you can even create the same sort of thing for the days, and maybe the days dont have to be horizontal. The days could go in list format so you can scroll up for previous days and down for next days, and then the horizontal would be the hourly for each day.
i just hate repetitive single clicks. id like some form of click and drag interface to move around. Eliminate superfluous clicks - increase productivity and efficiency.

Inappropriate?I'm not so sure about the days of the week thing, but I definitely like the idea of having a scrollable interface for the hours of the day. Great idea! Whether it's easy to implement... no idea :P.

Inappropriate? There is a big to do I have to put in great keyboard support for BubbleTimer. I know many people are allergic to the mouse and great keyboard support is often so much faster. This will include the ability to move around selecting bubbles (arrow keys), bubbling (I'm guessing the space bar), and changing days (probably pg up and pg down).
Arrowing over all the way to the right or left would scroll the time. I can also see a key to scroll the time too (home and end come to mind).
I'd like to get to this soon.
Thanks,
Sean
I’m looking forward to good keyboard support.

Inappropriate?Let me know if keyboard scrolling is WAY off the mark from what you wanted.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?I'm sure keyboard support is also something some people would want, but it would be nice if there was a way to reduce mouse clicks but still use the mouse.
I was thinking the original poster meant something like .. click and drag the bubbled area to change what part of the time scale is visible. Kinda like when using Google maps, or the hand tool in PDF readers.

Yep, this is also what I was thinking and supporting. I don't care so much for keyboard control, though I'm sure many people would like it. As far as this topic is concerned, I think the poster indeed meant being able to move the bubbles around with the mouse like the hand tool in PDF readers or something that does the same thing. -
Inappropriate? What I'd like to do is pick this conversation back up once the keyboard support is in place. My guess is that once we see it in action we'll find it'll be so useful that the PDF style hand might not seem so important anymore. We'll see.
Thanks,
Sean
I’m hopeful we all get amazed at how quickly we can bubble with slick keyboard support.
