@xodeus Tried loading Maps on my E61i and it said my phone wasn't compatible. :-( Trying Buddycloud, but seems not to get loc from network.

Yes, Buddycloud can use available cell tower info to determine your location. You can choose which location methods to use in the User Preferences.
