Help - address book Privacy?
Just installed buddylcoud - bit alarmed at the way it has imported all my contacts from my address book! What does ti do with this data? Is it just there to allow me to easily invite people (if not it will do nothing?)?

Inappropriate?BC is not Zyb. Your addressbook stays on your phone. The application just links it in under the Buddycloud contacts and tries to pair up your BC contacts with your phonebook contacts. This means that you can select a contact and immediately SMS them your current location. You can also call them from within BC.

Inappropriate?I have to echo this - I was also confused when all my contacts were imported. To quote a coworker of mine who was trying the application out: "I was really scared. What are they doing with this data? Is it transferred to their servers? If not, how would I know?" It'd be useful if there'd be some sort of notification on first startup alerting the user to the fact that their privacy is maintained and the list is not transferred to the server OR, as I've seen other applications do, have the address book only loaded manually on request and not automatically.
