Integrate known public places in buddycloud?
What about adding known public places in Buddycloud? I think they are a lot of location data for places like sight-seeing stuff like Churches, monuments etc. Why not put this in Buddycloud, so that I don't have to tag it all by myself?

Inappropriate?Good point christian. This comes down to the place model we want to adopt. we've currently gone for an approach of having places be only owned by the user. We also run into problems with not knowing the cellid-pattern for "St Mary's Church" or "Dog and Cow pub". For that to work we would have to go back to being purely GPS based which IMHO is a step backwards.
