Question about tags at buddycloud, me again
Hello Crew :)
Maybe you recognized, I like that tag thing, but asking myself how it really works, so that I can explain it to someone who are new to buddycloud.
Did you sync your location server with my phone? Or do you save all my tagged places forever at the location server? So what will happen if I delete them on my phone? Will they still apear on my phone as near Hiroshima Park etc?

Inappropriate?Perhaps the best way to think of the location bookmarks/tags/placemarks is as a global pool of places.
Each time someone tags a place it becomes available for others to also use.
From this large pool of places, you select a list of places that you wish to be shown at. If you you are not at one of your placemarks, then just the suburb level is shown to your friends.
Private places are a different beast: They are not added to the global pool of places, instead, are only available for you to use. These are places that it doesn't make sense for others to use like "Home", "My Girlfriend's house" etc.
