Inappropriate? We could remove the buttons, but how would you like to control buddyfuse in that case? There must be someway to add/remove accounts and sign them in.
-
Inappropriate? If I were in you I'd add attach a new menu in the default menubar, like Messenger Plus! does
you can then reach it by tapping alt, and it would be still available in the CL using the "show menu" button, the rightmost near the searchbox
since it would be less discoverable, I guess people should be given an option to disable the default buttons (default setup), while being told they can still reach options via that menu.

Inappropriate?thank you for the prompt feedback, and for the nice tool

Inappropriate?I'd like it even better if Buddyfuse added a tab to the setting dialog of Messenger itself. If that isn't an option then place a menu item in the menu.
-
Inappropriate? That's a great idea, I've actually never thought about that. No clue if it's doable for us, but I will investigate this.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? The menu item shouldn't be too hard. Other plugins have been doing the same thing (e.g. Messenger Plus!).
-
Inappropriate? The default .NET add-in mechanism has it's own option panel.

Inappropriate?.. but those are not supported anymore... ;-)
Thanks for your help but I believe we know basically everything about hooking into messenger that you can find on the internet :-). -
Inappropriate?I agree that adding another menu item would be great, but you could also make the Twitter, Gtalk and Hyves buttons a sub-menu of the Buddyfuse button. I think this would be very intuitive, even for new users.
