It's a very compressed idea, but there should be 2-4 rooms in which you are allowed to place your files. Instead of having 1 averaged sized space where you can fit 20-30 icons with ease, why not 2,3 or 4 rooms of the same size that you can scroll between with a click of a key or mouse button.
