On a more serious note, I disagree with this. BumpTop, imo, is supposed to be a sort of desk. Maybe adding shelves or file cabinets would be nice, but I'd be against having a bed in bumptop. Maybe a lamp, for looks....

the file cabinet idea i like :) and the shelves idea has been going around a fair bit, wonder if they will do it. would be nice :) even better if they are customizable in width and how far they stick out :)

By adding desktop items like lamps and cabinets and general stuff on the desktop would make it more 'real' and fun to play around on but one issue would be the reduction in size of the space on the desktop...

Maybe that file cabinets could be interactive, say you want to order stuff but instead of piles, use the filing cabinet to file the icons, folders, whatever away

And also add the feature to name each filing cabinet

yeah filing cabinets would be kool. Sort of like the side walls are cabinets so it doesn't take up any space - just cabinet drawers. you can click them and it opens. Sort of like Object Dock's Tabbed Docks. And you can just drag files into the cabinets haha yeah that would be kool and naming them too haha.

what corrupt nova had was a good point cabinets as well as piles. From an OCD point of view, piles can be sort of overwhelming, while cabinets make everything appear to be more organized

Yeay Cabinets that open into another Desktop! (Well for those of you that need it... that opens into the Destop that hold the pron...) With a door at the side to get back to the first Desktop...)

Wow I had no idea this would grow this big. I think the desktop should be open to a lot of different customization. Possibly even widgets that you can mount up on walls or something similar? What do the developers of bumptop think of all this?

I totally agree, this would be really cool. Just arranging stuff on your "desk" to make it mroe homey or whatever would be funny.

Or what if you had, like, action figures or stuff like that? That would be even more pointless, but much funnier :)

the idea of having office furniture like 3D filing cabinets, phones, and desks that are functional would be a good idea. I would like my own 3D office.

Let's put a laptop on the desk and launch bumptop inside bumptop :O

that would just clutter the work space, i know bumptop is fun and almost like a toy but it's also spos to be a tool to help organize your shortcuts
