Inappropriate?- b3965 doesnt upgrade automaticly to b3978...
b3978 :
- i dont know if it is wanted, because it is like that for all the build, but bumptop keeps switching back "launch on startup" when updating...
- STILL NO DESKTOP CONTROL PANEL ICON UNDER Win7... big launch for the os is october 22nd... is there any plan to fix this (I underline this bug for a long time now...)
I’m undecided
-
Hi MashineGun,
We have a patch for this, but we need to test this on a few more machines (Windows Xp, Vista etc.) before we commit it. If it's not in the next build, then look forward to it being in one of the subsequent updates.
cheers,

MashineGun,
This is not critical for Windows 7 support - this relatively minor feature has actually been a big problem in the past, so I'm hesitant to make more code changes at this point.
This fix will not be in v1.13 since we're looking to lock down and push this update out very soon. -
Inappropriate?bumptop automatically ticks "launch on startup" after updating ... can this please be removed ... it is very annoying ... overall its good ... though i am waiting for bumptop in ever folder ... also it would be nice to be able to open minimized windows from bumptop i.e. they could be leaving on the floor ... how about advanced theming? i.e. moving and automatically changing wallpapers
I’m undecided

I'll see about getting the installer updated to fix this annoyance.
Bump This Folder will hopefully be in v1.5. -
how about adding a sort of 'refresh' ... sometimes my bumptop shows folders that are deleted ... it would be easier to 'refresh' than to restart bumptop -
We can add this feature... do you have a way to get this to happen? Are there certain steps you do, to cause this? -
i have posted the steps below -
Inappropriate? Here: this folder doesn't exist but it opens in grid view however it can't be deleted. This happens automatically sometimes (no idea how).

ok ... i got the problem ... whenever i extract a zipped folder onto the bumptop ... an imaginary folder is created which can't be deleted -
Inappropriate?Just had a crash from Bumptop while right clicking on the desktop and clicking on the "more" button... first time with this build but not the first time I see this bug...
-
I'd like to contact you about this - we're not able to reproduce this problem.
Can you email us at feedback@bumptop.com with subject "Comctl crash" so we can figure out a way to fix this? -

Inappropriate?I'm having some problems with images caching.
I'm using build 4024, however this issue has been present before.
Some transparent .png (and .ico) files have a white background. And some images are shown as entirely different image.
Creating a copy or renaming a file, (temporary) fixes this. However when a file is renamed back to it's original name, it reverts to the image with a white background.
Clearing the cache and resetting BumpTop layout (from BumpTop settings) doesn't help.

All images on the top (in windows explorer) are shown properly, images on the bottom, however,
are shown OK only if they are renamed to a new name (one that hasn't been used before). -
Leon - interesting!
Can you send me an email with a RAR archive with the PNG and ICO files you're testing with? -
I deleted thumbs.db from desktop folder. It seems this fixed it. -
BumpTop pulls the thumbnails from there - and that file is generated by Windows... we'll keep an eye on things in the future. =)
