bumptop ideas
have 3d mail box as u would a real mailbox in an office and have different themes with different interactive objects like the mail box; so if it was an office environment, there would be a mailbox, shredder, sticky notes, blank text files, and job oriented objects : if you were working in oil and gas, there would be a map with different well sites etc... there could be an automatic pdf viewer or an extension of outlook on the desktop like the calender on a wall with important meetings and dates marked with big red "X's" and alarms...if one is working in the arts and fashion, an illustrator extension to doodle out ideas since the tablet age has come... hope this helps... thankx for the bumptop idea in the first place...
on another note, i hope there was someway of navigating to a particular place in the environment since i find the walls a little short, maybe there could be customizable environments, like desks, rooms, tables, countertop...

Inappropriate?Slow down... I think the bumpers will make a lot of applets or wigets or whateveryoucallthem and you will have to build your office / gamers / job / manager theme on your own, putting the applets in place that you find useful.
And second: I said it before: we need multi-desktop-ability (one screen, many desktops, all different). -
Inappropriate?again, these are just meant to be ideas and i found out that u can move around in the room if you double click the walls...I am still exploring the world of software since i am in the first year of university in compsci looking to become a game developer so i hope bumptop will be open source when released and if i am not correct it is open source right now...
