Inappropriate?Reinstall Bumptop?
-
Inappropriate?done that... didn't help...
-
Inappropriate?Have you tried changing you resolution to something smaller, see if Bumptop fills the screen. If it does, restart your PC, then change your resolution back to normal once bumptop has loaded in this smaller resolution.
-
Inappropriate?tried that as well... didn't work :(
p.s.
thx for the help so far... -
Inappropriate?still no help?
can i at least get an acknowledgment by BumpTop that they are aware of the problem?

The team is very busy most of the time, They're getting ready for the public beta. As for your problem, I would suggest complete uninstall, restart, redownload, and then reinstall to be sure your installer wasnt corrupted the first time you downloaded it. Other than that, I wouldn't know what to do. D: try e-mailing the Team at feedback@bumptop.com to be sure they know of the issue. -
Inappropriate?thanks,
I've seen the same problem with other users... i guess I'll just have to wait for newer versions in hope they've fixed the problem
I’m frustrated

I do wish they'd hurry, though. It's been a month since the last news regarding Bumptop's status, and that only makes me even more excited as to what the next release is going to contain. -
Inappropriate?hopefully an emphasis on bug fixes ;)
-
Inappropriate?Just out of curiosity, when you made your resolution smaller, did Bumptop fill the screen or was it still at about 80% of the smaller resolution?
-
Inappropriate?it still only filled those 80% of the smaller resolution

Inappropriate?Do you have another screen connected that runs at a lower resolution?
Do you have any apps running that might reserve the edges of the screen?
Have you tried to reset the layout through the Bumptop settings dialog? -
Inappropriate?Hi everyone,
If you're having this problem, please email us at feedback@bumptop with your DxDiag system information file (Start, run, dxdiag, Save all Information) and a list of any applications you have running.
Do you have a dual monitor set up?
Ensure you're running the latest reference drivers from nVidia or ATI - system OEM drivers (Windows inbox as well as OEM drivers from HP/Dell, etc.) won't work well.
Hitting Ctrl+Backspace will enable debug keys - and hitting Ctrl+M twice will toggle BumpTop to window mode, then fullscreen again - does this change anything?
Your emails will help us identify and resolve the problem.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Hi Justin,
Thanks for the reply
1, I sent the DxDiag file to the feedback address. (titled "Full screen trouble shooting report")
2. No i don't have dual monitor set up
3. My drivers are all up-to-date
4. Switching to windowed mode enables me to maximize the window to full screen (while remaining in window mode). when i press Ctrl+M again, BumpTop returns to it "problematic" original settings
Thanks again, -
Inappropriate?Hi Jon,
I already checked resetting the layout through BumTop.... didn't work
and no i don't have any other app. which might cause the problem
thanks for the help!
