BumpTop uses CPU and does IO even when completely idle.
BumpTop uses about 20% CPU when nothing is done with it (it is even not shown
due to application windows).
Additionally, in the same scenario BumpTop does control IO about 5,3 MB (slightly
changing over time).

Inappropriate?Hi there,
We have seen situations where this happens as a result of a bug in the physics engine. Two icons that are close to each other can be causing slight movement constantly, causing BumpTop to render the scene continuously.
You can monitor the situation by hitting F3 - if you see it constantly rendering, see if you can find the few icons that are causing the problem.
This is a known problem that will be fixed in a future release.
Of course, feel free to email us at feedback@bumptop.com if you'd like some help tracking down the problem! -
Inappropriate?Hi Justin,
any news regarding this problem?
I am currently evaluating BumpTop and having the same problem. When not even a single pixel of BumpTop is visible (a fullscreen window being on top), BumpTop uses 50-60& of my CPU power.
This is very annoying, and I stopped using BumpTop for this reason. In my opinion, any desltop/window/whatever manager should use nearly 0% CPU when not used.
Thanks anyway, for providing this BumpTop things which is very nice in several aspects.
I’m disappointed
