Calendar
A Calender would be a good addition to Bumptop, integrating it into the desktop, maybe on the wall, a double click on a day and it will bring up schedule, or to-do list.

Inappropriate?Simple and useful stuff like this is what's going to make bumptop a program that people will want to use.

Inappropriate?Great, the To Do list on the desktop, like the notes on the desk, are real usefull, but in this To Do lists we could interact with them doing marks on the completed works.

Inappropriate?needs to pull from Outlook Calendar

Inappropriate?I agree with texaus. This is a great idea as long as the data feeds from (or better yet, syncs with) Outlook.

Inappropriate?I also like the idea. The calendar should support single or multiple local or external iCalendars. E.g. I use a local calendar for personal things and an external google calendar for shared appointments.
BumpTop should be able to draw any number of calendars from any sort of resource and offer basic viewing selection like preferred time scale (show only the current day, a full week, two weeks or the current month) as well as custom color-coding for events from different calendars or categories (John's appointments in red, my appointments in blue) and proper displaying of simultaneous events (If John is having lunch while I'm waiting for a call, why should that stop me from reading both appointments' titles properly? I've been seriously let down in that regard by many calendar applications.)

Inappropriate?Right now I'm using an open source desktop calendar, it would be wonderful if I could replace it. I'd like to see a clock and some other useful features too. This program is great.

Inappropriate?I have a calendar widget that takes a screenshot from Google Calendar.
Here is a link to it, as well as instructions on how to make it. It's quite basic, but feel free to improve it. :)

Inappropriate?Yes, good i9dea, but indeed, MUST pull from Outlook or Google Calendar (either would be okay, since Google calendar already syncs with Outlook). But again, MUST pull from one of them, as putting entries into more than one calendar would be annoying.
