Can I launch BumpTop at will?
Can I launch BumpTop at will? I don't want it to take over my normal desktop, but I want to launch it manually. Does it work like this?

Inappropriate? If it's what you mean, I have mine set so it doesn't run at start up, and run it when I need it for organization.

Yes, I mean that it can launch as any other program. I want a normal startup of my windows and the click on a desktop shortcut of BumpTop and it will start the program and then I want to to be able to close it again. -
Inappropriate?Well, that's what I do. My computer can't handle running bumptop constantly, plus it's a laptop and bumptop has to be restarted after standby/hibernation I find (the graphics go wonky).
Go to options and unclick start up. Then make sure it's not in your startup folder.

thanks for the help and the info. -
Inappropriate?Whats wrong with Will?!?!?
anyway despite whatever Will has done to annoy you here are some steps to launching things at him:
http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-LEGO-T...
or you can go for the easy option: http://www.firebox.com/product/1540/U...
Anyway! When bump top installs it places an icon on your desktop, you can launch it from here, or from the start menu.
You also have to stop it from launching at start up, to do this, launch bumptop, and right click on empty space and select "more options" then "settings" and you want to uncheck the box that says "Launch Bumptop at Startup"
Hope I helped! And have fun with the cannon
I’m silly today!

thanks for the help and the info...and thanks for making me laugh with your misinterpretation of "launching at will"...nice joke (really, no irony here...I laughed).
English is not my native language, but I thought it would make sense that "launch at will" means that I will be able to start and close the application whenever I want to.
If that's not the case then sorry. :P -
Inappropriate?Yes! Its fine it made perfect sense! I just felt like making a little joke!
I’m silly today too!

Inappropriate? Is it also possible to deactive BumpTop at will? I know that you can launch BumpTop at will but can you go the other direction and turn it off to go back to a normal desktop when needed?

BumpTop is an application - so you can quit it at any time and return to your Windows desktop. -
Inappropriate?Yea you can right click on the tray icon and select exit :-)
The tray icon looks like a small version of the logo in the bottom right ^.^
