Can only open one Explorer window at a time, as soon as I open a second window, the first one crashes. This started happening after BumpTop was installed.

This is really annoying since I normally have alot of explorer windows opened at the same time.
Edit:
This only happens when I have the "Bump! This folder" *button* enabled (visible).

Inappropriate?Hey, thats really odd. Can you give us some more information about your system?
What XP or Vista and which service pack? If you disable "Bump! This Folder" in the settings do you still get the error?
What is the error message you get when it crashes? Really sorry about this, I'm sure it must be frustrating. -
Inappropriate?Hello Anand,
I use Windows XP, Service pack 2.
Yes, when I disable the button the error no longer occurres. Well, you get that general Windows memory read/write error. I could make a screenshot, but it will be in Dutch so I don't think it will be of any use to you.
It's a bit frustrating, but I keep in mind ofcourse that BumpTop is in its closed beta stage. I love the program.
A little side-question Anand, it seems like icons grow as I open them. A - what once was a neat pile - now shows textfiles with a slightly bigger size. Grow and shrink do not help to get all files to have the same size again. Is this a bug?
I’m confident

Inappropriate? The auto-sizing thing is actually a feature. But you'll be able to turn it off in the settings of the next update.
We'll have to get back to you on your error. Hopefully we can track down whats causing it. -
Inappropriate?I see, well I didn't liked that they kept growing each time I clicked them, I understand why you created this feature, but I like tidiness over this. Thanks for explaining.
Yes, I will retest the window bug the next update. I will keep you guys posted.
Thank you.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I have this EXACT same problem. I thought it was only me. I too think it is because of bumptop. Even when I'm not running it, it still crashes. The solution, or temporary solution that is, uncheck the option for multiple processes of explorer.exe.
Open a folder, goto to "tools" at the top, then "folder options".
Click the view tab.
Uncheck "Launch folder windows in separate process."
When that option is active each folder opens in a new explorer.exe process. And the error occurs when more than one explore.exe process is present. This solves the the problem for a little while.
But please staff, look into this.
