computer goes to standby mode but not to sleep.
noticed that my computer goes to standby mode but not to sleep mode while bumptop is running.
could be caused by flicker photo running. will continue to test this theory.....

were you able to find any more information on this prob? how are you invoked sleep? Are you letting a sleep happen by timer? If you force a sleep does it work? -
Inappropriate?i have a couple of photos on the desktop that rotate different photos from flicker.
my computer (laptop) by it's setings - goes to standby (monitor off - computer on still) then after continued inactivity compter shuts down to standby. while running the bumptop the monitor shuts down, but the computer never goes to standby.
seems the activity on the wireless network is keeping the computer awake.... if i disable the wireless it "standbys" normally
