Different color sticky notes
It's a minor add-on that would be nice...
Either a preselected set of colors or maybe even so far as user selected hue...

Inappropriate? For now you can change the hue on the note image. It is located in C:\Program Files\BumpTop\Textures\postit.png You can use Gimp or Photoshop express if you don't have any Paid for tools.
This is only a temp solution for the question. I am sure Bumptop has plans for different colors.

Thanks Jon!
I went looking in Bumptop's program folder and found the image file before posting this.
My original idea was to have multicolor notes rather than one color for all notes. Any confusion on this is entirely my fault and unfortunately, I can't change the original post at this point...
But once again, thanks for sharing the info for anyone else that wanted to change the color and didn't know how to or where it was located.
I'll wait for the update that will have multicolor notes. -
I as well went looking for the file upon my last update (still can't update past 1782 unfortunately:( ) and I replaced the file with my own image entirely.
I agree with the concept of identifying individual notes, or color-coding. Along those lines I believe it would be nice to enable custom sticky-notes in order for them to match a theme. -

Inappropriate? It'd be great if they came in different shapes too!

You can, but you have to edit the sticky note image and restart BumpTop. -
Inappropriate?Different shapes is realy cool, like new paper, old paper, paper with some beads, all at random.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?you can change the color.
go to: C:\Users\[USER FOLDER]\AppData\Roaming\
Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Themes\Default\core\icon\custom
and there you have the "sticky note.png"
you can edit it with photoshop or something else
I’m happy
