Display Failure

If I leave my laptop on for extended periods of time without activity, when I return the display driver will have failed. Nothing short of restarting restores my desktop. Everything opens and works correctly, and the Vista gadgets at the side still show up and work properly. However bumptop turns black, and rightclicking the icon in the quick tray does nothing.

Can you send us feedback from the BumpTop tray icon about this issue? This will send me some more system specifications that might help to diagnose this.

Most likely, updating your video drivers to the latest version will fix this problem. Have you tried this?
