Experimental widget for file types support

Here is a little experimental widget I made. There is no download, since it doesn't work very well.
The idea is to add support for more file types. It's supports text preview, mp3 album covers and movie thumbnails.

It's main drawback is inability to change icons quickly or as a scheduled task. It would be great, if it could be done programmaticly.
