How to manage filenames?

BumpTop can be more thoughtful on managing filenames, especially long filenames. It currently either "..." it, or when I fan out or grid out, it overlaps badly. Sure, I can make a file bigger, but in a pile, it can't go too big (it says doesn't fit the workspace), so I am down to clicking each icon one by one to see each of the file names.

Any idea from bumptop to address this?
