Initial icon saved to desktop after startup disappears...
Interesting Bug: First created icon on desktop disappears: After Vista SP1 startup (with BumpTop set to launch automatically with startup) - I wait for the desktop to completely load. Once everything has loaded - I open Word, create and new document - then exit - When prompted to save upon exit - I save the file directly to the desktop. Moments later - I see an icon drop to the desktop, then immediately disappear.
If I close bumptop - I will find the missing word document on the desktop. If I reload Bumptop, then repeat the same process - the document shows up and remains.
Has anyone seen this???

Inappropriate? So in the end, the new word file you saved isn't there? That definitely shouldn't be the case.
Because of the way Word saves files (its actually deletes the old one, moves the current one to the name of the old one) things can sometimes look funny in BumpTop, where files disappear. (we're working on this).
But in the end, the file should be there. Please let us know if its not. Does this prob only happen right after startup? I wasn't able to reproduce it on a quick test.

Inappropriate?I should have elaborated... The word file is NOT shown in BumpTop. If I exit BumpTop, I find the missing file on the desktop. The file is certainly there, just not shown on the BumpTop desktop. If I follow the exact same process (with the exception of just starting BumpTop, not fresh from startup) - I cannot re-create the error.
I will load BumpTop on my Tablet and see if I can re-create the error there.
Also - I have (3) apps altering the Vista environment.
ObjectDock - sans leopard
Switcher - sans leopard
BumpTop
These 3 apps seem to work together without issue - but I will see If one of the other apps is causing the issue...
Thanks for the reply...
