Lasso for the desktop... not the wall items

When you use the lasso maybe it would be good if it didn't grab stuff from on the walls. For the majority of the time I find that when I want to lasso some stuff it doesn;t include the items on the walls, however, in a hasty lasso I am not always careful enough to keep the mouse away from the wall.
