List the piles' contents
Hello all - I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we could have a faster access at the composition of the piles? I mean they are very useful to group files in a nature-like way, but... when stacking icons onto each other we lose sight of files' names and type (yes it's true, I'm obsessed with this issue). So maybe a function could be added to display on-screen a list of the names of files composing the pile when we move the mouse pointer onto it. And...display it pretty large if you ask me. Afterwards, one could: 1 - click with the left button on a file name to open that file, or 2 - you guessed it, click on the right button to bring up the context menu of said file, or 3 - rotate the wheel mouse to slip that file's icon out of the pile. This would allow working on piled up icons while leaving the piles intact. Optionally, to avoid confusion, one could choose to have the files' list displayed by right-clicking on the pile instead of mousing over.
Added: WHOOPS! I just found this post:

The automatic "similar post finder" didn't show it, I only found it later in the rightmost column... Well this means I'm not alone I guess.

Inappropriate?Pro version will enable Flip option, which acts like your option 3.
Once a user selects a pile he/she can flip the pile using mouse scroll wheel. -
Well this is not exactly what I was describing. What I meant was not flipping the icons (that is a great option by the way) but a faster way to see the contents and operate on single files without having to delve into the pile to get to the right file.
