Missing system icons (recycle bin, my computer, my documents)
After Bumping up my desktop, my system icons are missing: Recycle Bin, My Computer, My Documents. After I close Bumptop, they come back in normal desktop, bu after I turn Bumptop on again, they dissapear. I tried the "Reset Bumptop layout" option in Settings, but it didn't work.

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem, but its on an English version of Windows (XP x64 SP2). The same installer worked fine on my computer when I was using XP SP3 (x86).
Instead of the contents of my Windows Desktop icons showing up, like Recycle Bin and My Computer, I get a folder called "Desktop" which opens a window containing my desktop when opened.1 Comment

Inappropriate?I have the same problems with spanish windows xp, but... close your bumptop, and create shortcuts for the system icons. (right click on my pc, select create shortcut, and so on with everything else). Change the shortcut name to something more useful (not "shortcut to recycle bin") for cosmetic purposes, then launch bumptop.
Now you'll see them. They are shortcuts, but at least you can access them. :)
EDITED: ok, now I visited the link winson gave us and I see that my workaround was already there XD anyway... I promise I tried it before reading it LOL

Inappropriate?I am running Vista 64 and the My Documents icon does not display on my bumptop. All the rest of the system icons show up. I read about your workaround, but will also look forward to the fix...

Hi there,
This fix is already in place - if you're running Vista and not seeing these icons, the current workaround is to disable and enable the icon. Toggling the setting writes the necessary key to the registry.
In Vista, right click on your desktop, go to Personalize, then "Change Desktop Icons" on the left. You should be able to uncheck/check (or vice versa) the settings next to the icons, and they should appear in BumpTop. -

There's plenty bin icons to choose from plus possibility to use your own customised icon!

Oh yeah, if you use "room rotation" by clicking the walls then the widgets will hide under the BT.. restarting BT will help.
