Nomination for Best Desktop-Environment Enhancement Software

I'm running Windows XP on a pentium core 2 duo 2.3Ghz and 2G ram, radeon X1650 video card

BumpTop runs great and is a blast to use. I enjoy just using it, not even to any purpose most of the time. Also I like the animations between steps (like when I double-click somehting) except my computer loads the windows before BumpTop loads the animation so I generally only see it for a brief moment(maybe 4 or 5 frames).

My work(web and game dev) involves a lot of internet browsing, downloading, unpacking, and using scripts and other packages from open source distributors on the net. Before bumptop, they would line up at the bottom of my normal desktop icons, but with bumptop they all fall in the center and pile up. After a couple hours of working the central pile of files is really funny/cool looking and I enjoy tossing about in the pile, looking for a file, much more than scanning through a list of icons on the desktop.

Thanks again for the free beta BumpTop! I just updated and sent a screenshot too. Before bumptop I used a competitor 3d desktop environment, and it was very amateur in comparison.

And in case you're heads are getting big, BumpTop is a cool program but essentially pointless. It does not help workflow in anyway, and possibly even hinders it a little, but I keep it running always even during work hours.

Good Job guys, maybe when I learn more about software dev I'll hit you up!
