Inappropriate?An interesting idea. It would have to interface with the email client in someway.
If you got lots of email every day, it could become a problem, though.

Inappropriate?It would be really fun if the paper planes kept flying in maybe a dedicated "flying" zone, then you could bring out your gun and start sniping them to read your emails... of course you'd need different difficulty levels ^^

the idea would be great if you change the "send to mail" applet for an "outbox" (click it for a new mail, drag files to attach them to a new mail) and another applet for "inbox". when a new mail arrives a paper plane comes in and lands on the inbox applet.
maybe you can create a firebird plugin to link the event of receiving messages to bumptop...
if you manage to link gmail directly to bumptop, just check for changes on the defaul gmail web (inbox). you find changes, you add a paper plane.
