Selection problem (and art, yippeee!)
I found a little glitch in the selection process. It's maybe a little one, but it is a glitch!
It is not in the blueish area, so it must not be selected.

Also, using the selection you can make great art. It's funny, I do it when I'm bored.

Hey YS, This is a known bug. The Lasso actually selects the Convex Hull of the lasso path. This is to enable the Lass'n'Cross functionality. In practice people rarely make non-Convex lasso's so its not that big of an issue. I think.

Inappropriate?Hey, i'm able to lasso select and right-click (with some inaccuracy) the items you say you can't select. I just can't single-click select them.
Also,you're right about the break pile.
We really intended the wide views to be more of a transient view of your desk. Something you briefly switch to, and then back to the normal view. Though it seems like some users are spending lots of time in that view. Are you? -
Inappropriate?Yes I mean I couldn't also single-click select them. Only when I click on their names. Lasso works fine.
I only spend seconds on that view when I try to place something at these sidewalls. After that I use the normal view.
I can't even do anything special with piles. It's like the right-click misses his "target". Creating piles won't work too in that view.
